Shop Alongs

Shop alongs are a form of ethnographic interview that typically takes place while the participant shops in a retail enviroment. It provides an excellent means to explore a shopper’s opinions and attitudes in a real world enviroment. The retail environment in which a Shop-Along takes place allows you to go much further and address issues and obtain feedback from qualified customers where the purchases and purchase decisions take place. The context of the surveys allow Shop-Alongs to have a distinct advantage over more traditional research.
